By processing any order through our Shadeit.net website, whether on line, over the phone, via email or via fax customer acknowledges acceptance of these terms and conditions. Furthermore, these terms and conditions will be emailed to each customer upon placement of any order. It is the customer's responsibility to fully read and understand these terms and conditions. Should customer disagree with any of these terms he or she has 24 hours to cancel any order with written notice.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of placement for any reason. However if any order has been shipped the customer will be responsible for applicable fees such as re stocking fees and shipping fees. Furthermore, the customer must notify ShadeIt.net via email prior to any cancellations at rtholliday@shadeit.net. Any orders that have been returned without prior authorization will be refused and customer will still be responsible.

Return Policy

*All Items must have a valid RA# (return authorization #) before they can be returned. Customer is responsible for contacting Shadeit.net in writing via email or US postal service to obtain return authorization # (RA#) prior to returning any product. Should any questions arise, it is the customer's responsibility to contact ShadeIt.net for further clarifications. ShadeIt.net is not responsible to return funds of any type or contact any customer regarding items that have been returned with out prior written authorization and approved authorization #. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to pay for shipping in all directions unless a clear manufacturing defect has occurred. Customer is responsible to send items back at customers cost. Once an item has been inspected a credit will be issued back to the credit card for the shipping costs if a manufacturing defect has indeed occurred.

Damaged Goods Policy

All of our products are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects. If for some reason a problem has occurred with an order, please contact us right away in order to determine a reasonable solution. We strongly recommend that all items be checked immediately upon receipt. All items must be opened and inspected for damage within 7 days of delivery, and written notification of any problems must be submitted no later then 7 days from receipt or all sales will be considered final. Should a defect or problem occur; buyer must contact seller in writing and/or via digital pictures as well, describing said defect or problems with instructions or questions regarding return issues. Seller reserves the right to send replacement parts when applicable. ShadeIt.net refund policy does not cover items damaged due to misuse, neglect, wind, weather conditions or other "acts of God". It is the customer's responsibility to properly care for, maintain, store and safely use the products ordered. If any questions arise about proper use, please email questions to rtholliday@shadeit.net. When returning an item for any reason, item MUST be packaged in the original carton. Items that have been scratched or dented are considered un-sellable and or no longer considered to be as new condition. Un-sellable items will not be accepted for return unless there has been a clear manufacture defect or warrantee issue. Umbrella products are non-returnable for improper size selection. Actual fabrics and components may vary slightly from color charts and or pictures as displayed due to particular lighting effects, computer monitor displays, graphics and availability of particular seasonal items. Therefore ShadeIt.net will not be held responsible for any persons who improperly decide a specific color choice, unit style, or size dependant on the visual picture only. It is the customer’s responsibility to read all descriptions in the item shopping cart before ordering. If ShadeIt.net so chooses to except a returned an item, it is at Shadeit.net's discretion whether or not a restocking fee and or shipping charges will apply. All returns for improper color choices may be subject to a 25% restocking fee plus applicable shipping and handling charges. Refunds will be given for the purchase price less the original shipping and handling charge as agreed upon. ShadeIt.net will make good any mishaps such as wrong size or color sent to customer at its own expense. However, for all returned items, customer will be responsible for any shipping via UPS, Post Office, etc to us, except when a manufacturing defect is verified. In such cases (verifiable manufacturing defect), seller may choose to make arrangements for the merchandise to have it picked up. ShadeIt.net reserves the right to repair or replace such merchandise at ShadeIt.net discretion. Refunds are issued within 30 days of our inspection of returned items. Should any item be refused delivery and returned with out authorization, a 25% restocking fee plus all shipping and handling fees will be charged at minimum. However, it is at ShadeIt.net sole discretion whether a refund of any type will be issued. There will be absolutely no refunds or returns credited for custom ordered items. Custom ordered items are non-returnable or refundable for any reason out side of clear manufacturing defects. Should any customer refuse delivery of a custom ordered item, customer relinquishes his rights to any refund. Customer is responsible to pay all shipping costs associated with un-approved cancellations and returned shipments of custom ordered items. Only items with written authorization including (RA#'s) are eligible for a full purchase price (less S&H) refunds. For this reason, it is best to communicate via email to receive written authorization before you return your item.

Patio Umbrellas & Stands

All patio umbrellas and umbrella stands should be physically inspected out of the box and not be placed on any table or stands. Should any damages such as dents, scratches, rips and or tears from placement in stands or tables the said item will no longer be considered as new and therefore, non returnable. Any patio umbrellas that use custom fabrics, pole colors, options, etc are considered to be a custom order. Any custom order is considered non refundable for any reson other than clear manufacturing defects. Most California Umbrella Company, Dayva, Paraflex and Skyspan umbrellas will fall under this category. Furthermore, we have done our best to depict each color correctly. However, we can not be held responsible for customer's actual color interpretation as every monitor has been adjusted differently, lighting effects as well other unknown variables may distort the image color. ShadeIt.net is happy to provide samples be it for free or for a fee should customer request. No returns will be accepted for improper color selections. On some occasions, fabrics and or particular component frames and parts may be returned and re-fabricated at customers cost, plus shipping and applicable restocking fees at ShadeIt.net's sole discretion.

Custom Shade Sails

All custom shade sails are made to order and therefore considered to be non refundable. Lead times may vary from 7 to 60 days according to each project. ShadeIt.net may notify customers as to the progress of each custom project, however, it is the customer's sole responsibility to call or email with any questions or concerns. ShadeIt.net in turn WILL respond to each call or email within 24 to 48 hours (or sooner). Furthermore, custom shade sails will be made as close as possible to the dimensions that customer is requesting. However, we can not be held responsible for discrepancies less than 6 inches on all shade cloth sails and 2 inches on all Sunbrella shade sails. ShadeIt.net may accept returns under special circumstances as deemed by ShadeIt.net only. Furthermore, reserves the right to use quality galvanized d-rings when necessary as opposed to stainless steel.

Pre Made Shade Sails

All pre made shade sails will ship within 24 to 72 hours of receipt of order. It is also the customer's responsibility to inspect each sail upon receipt. Should customer find a product defect it is their responsibility to report that defect in writing and via digital pictures within 72 hours of receipt of product. Once the defect has been detected, ShadeIt.net will replace the damaged top immediately. ShadeIt.net will also make any arrangements necessary to recover the damaged top. ShadeIt.net will no longer be held accountable should customer fail to notify ShadeIt.net within the alloted 72 hour period. All pre made shade sail orders are final due to the nature of the product. ShadeIt.net may accept return under special circumstances as deemed by ShadeIt.net only. Furthermore, reserves the right to use quality galvanized d-rings when necessary as opposed to stainless steel.

ShadeScapes USA disclaimer

PLEASE THOROUGHLY READ OWNER’S MANUAL, INSTRUCTIONS AND WARRANTY BEFORE INSTALLATION, ASSEMBLY AND OPERATION. Please be advised that manufacturer warranties do not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, wind, improper canopy folding, or wrongful use of the product. Read all manuals and instructions carefully to ensure proper installation, assembly and operation. Once installed, ensure all users are properly trained in operation and wind guidelines. On the subject of wind resistance, always use COMMON SENSE: If it is too windy to be outside enjoying the day, it is always best to lower/collapse the fabric canopy structure. It is also best to keep the fabric canopy structure lowered/collapsed when unattended. See the Owner’s Manual (Shademakers) and Instructions/ Warranty (Paraflex, Rimbou, Ingenua) to find installation, assembly, and operation instructions in addition to detailed wind guidelines for the specific shade solution purchased. TRANSIT DAMAGE - Claims made for damage to goods while in transit should be initiated with ShadeScapes USA within 5 days of receipt of product. Photographs of the damaged packaging and/or concealed damages must be provided to aid in the claims process. A full inspection of goods upon delivery will dramatically aid in the claims process. In the event that notice of damage is not given within 5 days the claim may be denied.

Shipping Policy

Shipping and handling charges will apply to all orders unless listed as free shipping or pre-negotiated in writing. All charges will be included in the final transaction price and disclosed as the total cost for items purchased. Should items be returned for any reason outside of manufacturing defects, shipping fees will be deducted from any credit due customer. Should an item be originally purchased as a FREE Shipping offer, all actual shipping charges shall be deducted from any credit due customer. The Customer is responsible for return shipping via UPS to ShadeIt.net, except when a manufacturing defect has been verified. In such cases, the customer will pay for the initial return shipping cost and a refund will be applied once the item has been inspected and confirmed to be a manufacture defect. In some cases, ShadeIt.net may choose to send a call tag for the return merchandise. ShadeIt.net also reserves the right to repair or replace such merchandise at our discretion. ShadeIt.net is not liable for any damage caused by shipping carriers. ShadeIt.net make sure that all items are properly packaged prior to shipping, however, due to circumstances beyond our control, damages while goods are in transit does happen from time to time. ShadeIt.net also reserves the right to make adjustments to shipping charges when necessary. Customer should contact ShadeIt.net in witting via email at rtholliday@shadeit.net should he or she request to receive an item by a particular date. ShadeIt.net will do its best to make sure that the item is shipped out on time. However, ShadeIt.net can not be held responsible for any delays due to circumstances beyond its control. Furthermore, we can not be held responsible for any item that is not delivered by the customers expected delivery date.

Shipping Lead Times

In stock items usually ship within 1 to 5 business days of receipt of order; However, particular products with fabric, pole & material color choices may take up to an additional 5 - 15 days depending on fabric and component availability. Once items ship from warehouse, shipping time may take anywhere from 1 to 14 business days dependant on products ordered and particular freight carrier arrangements. Custom orders may take anywhere from 7 days to 45 days of manufacturing time. Standard shipping lead times listed above will apply. All customer requesting expedited services must do so in witting. An expedite fee may or may not apply. Furthermore,ShadeIt.net is not responsible if for whatever unforeseen reasons delay shipment. ShadeIt.net will only be responsible for refunding up to 50% of the expedite fee due to additional costs involved in handling such requests.
